TryLight Theatre Co. was formally established in March of 1991 as a bridge from First Baptist Church to the community. Early in our history we made a couple of critical decisions. First we committed ourselves to producing two major productions each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Secondly we decided we would focus on secular plays and use the stories they present as parables.
The theatre is run by an Advisory Board made up of 4 church members and 3 members of the community. While we are a ministry of First Baptist Church we function like a community theatre and encourage community members to become actively involved in each production.
The future holds some potentially exciting ventures for TryLight. As they unfold we will keep this site updated. We will also be giving advance notice of ticket sales and shows that are up coming.
TryLight is a registered charity.

TryLight Theatre Co. Is pleased to announce that they will once again be running the Living History Project in the summer of 2012. The goal is to offer two historic walks one through the downtown core and one having to do with Lake, River and Water. More information will be available early this spring.
